It’s already been two years since I moved to Okutama by chance. I’ve been blessed with many encounters along the way. Okutama’s tourist season is summer and autumn, but the beauty of the satoyama always shines through, even in the cold winter and on rainy days. I want to convey the richness of the satoyama lifestyle that I have experienced. With this in mind, I look forward to the day when I can welcome you all as a storyteller of the history and culture that has been nurtured in the rich natural environment of this land.
